FAQs

Improv

  • Improv isn't solely about being funny—it's about collaboration, listening, and responding. Everyone brings their unique perspective and creativity to improv, and it's more about the journey than hitting a punchline. Skills like quick thinking and creativity grow with practice.

  • Choose clothes that allow you to move freely and comfortably. You’ll be doing a lot of physical movement, including stretching, bending, and possibly even light tumbling. Avoid anything too tight or restrictive.

And wear layers if you find yourself too cold or too hot.

  • Not if you don’t want to. We have classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced improvers, as well as sketch comedy, and we focus on the process and fun of creating scenes in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

These settings are great for learning and enjoying improv without the stress of a performance.
