BEGINNER/

IMPROVER IMPROV

In this blended beginner/improver Improv class the focus is on building confidence and fostering a supportive environment for exploration through laughter. Through group exercises and games you will be introduced or extended on the foundations of improv such as “Yes, And”, spontaneity, active listening, being present in the moment, self awareness, vulnerability, taking risks, making and accepting offers. This class is all about stepping out of your comfort zone, trusting yourself and failing joyfully. If you are an improver, you will build on foundations and be introduced to character development. You will learn how to clearly establish the ‘who’ in scenes and define your character choices.

“Classes with Step Out! have been a tremendous joy and therapeutic experience. I so love getting to play and explore the vast array of expressions available to us. I have been gifted with an opportunity to completely surrender to the moment. Thank you Louise for creating a space for us to get silly, fun and expansive”.
